About

Heyyyyy.

Thanks for stopping by and thanks for bearing with me while I get this thing going. I grew up as a kid in the era of dial-up internet, floppy discs, and AOL. Now we have smartphones, bitcoins, and Instagram.

I remember making my first blog at 13 on Yahoo GeoCities. I wrote about the latest fashion trends (which at the time was ugg boots, Hollister and Abercrombie layered shirts), the latest pop culture news, and even had a page dedicated to the news at my school. (Which didn't last long after the school, and my parents found my blog and made me shut it down due to talking shit about a girl at my school, who wasn't very nice to me I'd like to add)

So fast forward to 2022, what will I write about now? I don't have any advice to give, nor am I a celebrity or public figure of any sort. I don't go out and party like I did in my 20s (now 32). But I am someone with big dreams, and a story to tell. And as silly as I may feel wanting to share my story, maybe there is someone out there who would be entertained? Who may read my stories and feel inspired to share theirs?

So since this is the "About" section, here is a little bit about me:

My name is Tammy and I'm 32  years old (Taurus bb ♉︎)

I was born in Montclair, California, and moved to Arizona when I was 12 for my dad's job.

I began writing at an early age. For a class in 4th grade, I wrote a story based on the ghost at the summer camp I had attended a couple times, over a couple of summers. Well to my surprise, they chose my story to act out in the school play. I remember my parents being so proud of me. Maybe that's where my drive to want to write and turn it into something visual came from.

At 13 I took modeling and acting classes, but at that age, I was awkward and didn't have much self-confidence so I didn't really do anything with it once I finished the classes.

At 14, I smoked weed for the first time (this is also the age I lost my virginity, not my proudest memory)

My first job ever ........ was at McDonald's (Fun Fact: It only lasted a couple months, and the first time they put me on Drive-Thru, I cried and they never put me on the drive-thru again)

Like most teenagers, I started going to parties in high school. Which usually involved partially lying to my parents. Telling them I was staying the night at a friend's house (which was usually the truth). Once I'd get there, my friend's parents would check in with mine via phone (at my parent's request), we'd head out to whoevers house was the spot for the night.

At 16 I had gone to my first rave (and yes participated in the consumption of drugs)

At 18, I started dancing (exotically) (more stories on that eventually)

At 18 is when I also discovered go-go dancing ("You mean I can dance on a platform or stage, not take my clothes off and still get paid? Sign me up" I thought)

Starting to be around the club scene at 18 years old is not one I would recommend for everyone but it provided me with lots of memories and stories to tell. I got to meet some really cool people, and celebrities.

But I also was introduced to some suspicious humans and dark parts of the industry.

With this blog, I'll dive a little deeper into the stories that have made me who I am today. My eventual goal is to turn some of my stories into a book that can be turned into a tv show. I will be trying to post a new story or blog every week (maybe a couple times per week)
